Competitive sportsmen since school playing a variety of sports including racquet sports, athletics, and outdoor pursuits. Mark remains a dedicated runner and has a keen interest in diet and nutrition which is very much needed to fuel his passion. With over 20 years' experience of international hotel and Michelin restaurant management it is fair to say he knows a thing or two about fine cuisine and what makes a good menu too. Mark loves to see others develop becoming more efficient and injury free runners, he is a Running Coach and has been a Race Director since 2016 overseeing local running club Stamford Striders annual St Valentine's 30k race. Sue is very conscious of the stress busting effects of working on mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. She has focused hard on these areas since 2019 and consequently lost 4 stone of weight, leaving her happier and healthier. She aims to eat a healthy balanced diet high in vitamins and minerals, and low in fat, but also enjoys sweet treats in moderation. She originates from the Cambridgeshire Fens and many members of her family (past and present) have worked in farming and food production. Sue is therefore passionate about supporting businesses and initiatives such as Weekly Meal Plans who use locally sourced products that support local farmers to sustain their income. She is currently completing Couch to 5k and #NHS1000miles. She is always ready for a new physical challenge and last year completed her first triathlon after becoming confident in open water swimming. During lockdown she has been doing a range of online exercise classes to maintain fitness. Sue thoroughly enjoys the healthy meals delivered to her door from Weekly Meal Plans. These are healthy, varied and give her the opportunity to try tasty new dishes. Sue works for a local NHS Trust. During a busy day working from home, Sue no longer needs to skip meals as she can instantly access a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner from her fridge. She knows these have been prepared with care and is delighted to support a business which values local and sustainable food
